Check-in

Go here for online check-in, it is free of charge. You will need your booking id and personal information to do the check-in.

The online check-in opens 24 hours before the departure and is available up to 3 hours before the departure time.

You can do the check-in at the airport free of charge.

Check-in at the airport starts 3 hours before take-off for all our flights. Check-in counters close 40 minutes before the flight.

At the airport you must present the flight ticket (electronic or printed), a valid identity card or passport (as the case may be), the documents necessary to enter the destination country (visa) if required, the hold baggage to be weighed, as well as the hand baggage to be checked if it falls within the weight and size limits.

You must be informed of the applicable travel regulations and comply with the required conditions before traveling.

The counter opens 3 hours before departure and closes 40 minutes prior to take-off.

We can help you transport bicycles, golf, skiing, water skiing, surfboarding, windsurfing, fishing, scuba diving, bowling equipment, in exchange for an applicable fee.

You need to properly pack this type of sports equipment, and it must not exceed the weight allowed for hold baggage (maximum 23 kg).

When you transport a bicycle, its handlebar needs to be rotated and fixed along the frame, the pedals need to be removed, the wheels need to be deflated and the whole ensemble must be in a protected pack.

If your sport equipment is not on this list, please contact us to check if we can transport it.

You have 3 options depending on the dimension and weight of the musical instrument, as follows:

  1. Hand baggage

If the number, dimensions, and weight of the musical instrument is in accordance with the hand baggage allowance of the booking you made, you can carry it as hand baggage in the place of the permitted carry-on bag.

  1. Cabin Seat baggage, on an additional seat

Instruments such as the violoncello, drums, guitars, harps, violins, amplifiers/loudspeakers used with musical instruments, etc. can be transported in the passenger cabin on an additional seat.

You must request this special service from us and pay for the additional seat.

  1. Checked baggage

If the number, dimensions, and weight of the musical instrument is in accordance with the checked baggage allowance of the booking you made, you can carry it as checked baggage in the place of the permitted hold bag.

If the instrument together with its case exceeds the limits for checked baggage allowance, please contact us to check if it can be transported and to pay the excess baggage fees.

In all the above situations, the musical instrument shall be carried in a protective case.

Booking

You can pay with a credit or debit card.

Cards accepted for payment are those issued under the logos VISA (Classic and Electron) and MASTERCARD (including Maestro if they have CVV2 / CVC2 code).

No additional transaction fees are charged.

Card data processing is done exclusively on Revolut servers.

The security of the information is guaranteed by the fact that Revolut does not store the confidential data of the card, but sends it encrypted on a secure connection to the processing bank. This way your information is secure.

Regardless of the currency you have in your account, transactions are made in the currency of your choice for booking tickets, using the exchange rate of your bank.

You can reserve the seat during the booking process or after. Retrieve your booking here. You will first choose the seat for your departure flights, then for the return. The seat map will guide you to pick the best seat available.

Travel

Babies benefit from one free hold baggage, within the standard limits: 23 kg and size 100 x 80 x 30 cm.

If you bring a stroller, made up of one or more pieces, it will also be transported free of charge. You can use the stroller up to the plane, here you give it to be put in the hold. After landing, you receive the stroller after getting off the plane.

During takeoff and landing, you can help your baby equalize the air pressure by giving them a bottle from which to drink small sips, a lollipop or pacifier.

If you are traveling with kids up to 5 years old, you can bring a stroller free of charge. It can be used up to the plane.

We suggest bringing something to suck or chew for your child (like chewing gum, lollipop, candy drops) or some water/ tea to drink, so they feel less discomfort during takeoff and landing.

Families with children have priority at check-in and boarding.

Minors cannot travel alone on a HelloJets flight.

Your furry little friend, whether it’s a cat or a dog, can travel with you, but only as PET service.

If it weighs up to 8 kg, with the cage, it can go in the cabin (PET service).

If it weighs more than 8 kg, it is AVIH service, and we do not transport AVIH.

All animals must be at least 3 months old, vaccinated, clean, odorless, independent of breast milk, non-pregnant to travel.

Cage size allowed: maximum size of 40 cm x 30 cm x 24 cm (length x width x height) for PET

To travel with a pet in an EU state, live animals must meet the following requirements:

– have a microchip implanted under the skin

– have a health certificate

– have a valid rabies vaccine, in accordance with the following EU legislation: http://ec.europa.eu/food/animals/pet-movement/eu-legislation/non-commercial-eu_en

– have a passport for animals, issued by the veterinarian.

The time when boarding starts is written on the boarding pass and on the screens in the airport.

Please note that the boarding gate closes 20 minutes before take-off time.

If you need to take medication during your journey, you can store it in your carry-on baggage, even if the medicines are in liquid, gel, or aerosol form.

You should have a medical certificate stating that you are under treatment and listing the medicines you need.

Using personal electronic devices during the flight will be restricted so please follow the cabin crew instructions.

Electronic devices in checked baggage must be completely switched off (not in sleep or hibernation mode) and must be protected from damage and unintentional activation.

Items like spare lithium-ion batteries, mercury barometers, fuel cells and spare fuel cell cartridges for powering portable electronic devices, electronic cigarettes, cannot be transported in checked baggage. Such items shall be transported in the cabin baggage.

Other

If you need special assistance, you can book the service online when you make the flight booking or add it after, but no later than 48 hours before departure. The service is complimentary.

We provide special assistance before, during and after the flight, for:

  • people with hearing or visual impairments or with cognitive disabilities
  • people who need/ use a wheelchair
  • elderly people who need guidance

If you are travelling with your own battery-powered wheelchair, please let us know in advance so we can check whether this battery may be carried on an aircraft, for safety reasons.

If the pregnancy has been without complications, you can fly until the 36th week.

If you are between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, you need a medical certificate issued within 10 days before the date of travel, stating:

  • the estimated date of delivery
  • confirming that pregnancy is without complications
  • that you can travel by plane
  • the complete name and telephone number of the doctor.
